Akinwale Peace
The old sun stood on the lonely blue sea,
The waves blew gently on the mild, calm sea.
The heavenly shapes dazzled on the sea,
The rose sprout; as daffodils near the sea.
....
On the seashore of endless worlds blow cool...;
As the sea surges with laugher on it's blue,
Like the mystic danc'ng sea on crystal blue
water, racing the rising tide a-hue.
....
Beneath the lime tree, blows daffodils' heir;
The rose, blooming beneath the old tree's wear.
Blessed be thou Lord of Earth, and Heavens Heir-
That, thou of Nature's pleasing banquet share.
....
Boisterous is the wild restless river, like
winds on a river and deep torrent strike.
The sea of desire, of list'ning earth like
the high and low of heavens pedal-like.
....
Hear words when they speak, send words to heaven,
Say well; good of the sailing restless seven.
Tell to the heaven the hour is eleven
and make thy cool breeze ease their hot heaven.
"words from the innocent mind"
