MY MORTAL LIFE ENDS
When I came into this world,
I cried aloud yet I said no word.
I was held with tender love in my mother's arms
I was trained to always give arms
Now back into her hands, she received my sacred body,
Broken for the sins of the world.
Now the sacrifice is done, yes my mass is complete.
But not yours; those you love may part from you
My life is incomplete until I crown it with death.
This is time to show love,
So don't look for me.
I'm everywhere; in the market place,
In the hospitals and prisons,
In the courts and offices.
This is where my mortal life ends,
But this is where yours start.
I've taken away your sorrow,
I've given to you a better tomorrow,
Always live in everlasting faith,
And your life will overcome every evil fate.
