Uzzy Tebudiga is a Nigerian-Ghanaian Afro R&B Singer/Songwriter. Born Usman Olateju Lawal, Uzzy Tebudiga was born in the early 90s in Lagos, Nigeria.
Growing up to the sounds of Michael Jackson, Bob Marley and Ebenezer Obey, as played by his mother; these sounds inspired Tebudiga to appreciate music as an art form.
With a degree in International Relations/Political Science from the Houdegbe North American University Benin Republic, Tebudiga introduced himself to the music industry with his cover for Wizkid’s “Don’t Dull” in 2010 which he titled “HNAUB Don’t Dull” The remix went viral and became a campus hit.
His sound is self- described as Gote; an Afro-Hybrid Mashup of Afro beat and other genres like Rock, R&B, Hip-hop and Pop.
