The street I grew
On the street i grew,
Adult loitering was not sightly new,
Adultery; women offering lust to fools who
Gamble and drink thier pay to booze.
On the street I grew,
I knew men to be greedy,
They fill up til spaces are empty,
What belittling act to view.
On the street I grew,
The lazy, scornful and folly all knew
Nothing but to gossip and
Waste away till they have to beg alms.
On the street I grew,
Salvation was unheard; savages
Grew in sin, it was norms like an old adage
And this from my early, was where I was brew.
The street I grew
Was filled with temptations as many other
Bu the more I aspired to differ from,
The more i was in sync with my new form.
