*MISSED WISH*

_Things I missed,_
_Let me start from the stars at night_
_it reminds me of tales in twilights._

_The voices of birds_
_that beat drums in my ears_
_before the whisper of dawn._

_The beat of gongs_
_that bells on the alter of our home_
_for early devotional prayers._

_The fantasy of being great_
_that burdened my heart_
_without remedy._

_I missed the smiling of sun_
_when it has no shaft to stunt_
_its arrows towards my mind._

_I missed loved ones,_
_I wish their eyes were wide open_
_to see how rapid have grown._

_I wish their ears weren't lost_
_to hear hymns of mourning_
_in the threshold of morning._

_I wish they could stay_
_to say a word about the curiosity_
_and bomb notice on headlines._

_I wish they could clung_
_and stay closer to me, surely_
_I wouldn't have missed those wishes so much._
