I HAD A DREAM
I had a dream that one day
I could also say, I have done it.
I had a dream to move mountains,
Shake the world
And make the impossible become possible.
I had a dream to redeem the spark in me,
Fuel the flames to blaze!
I had a dream to pop up balloons,
Let grandeur take over my life.
I had a dream to not let life, thwart me from blooming!
I had a dream to live life like a princess,
Let tribulations breeze,
Scoop happiness
And repel sadness!
I had a dream to have it all,
Be a mentor, an inspiration to all.
I had a dream to cast out poverty,
Masticate on wealth rather.
I had a dream to be the voice of damsels,
The face of goodwill.
I had a dream to take on the world,
Be a role model and look back not.
I had a dream to spit on slavery,
To trample on corruption,
To despise injustice,
But to plan not revenge!
I had a dream to break all the curse,
And weep not for spilt milk
For there is yet more to come.
I had a dream to be the change
The world has been waiting for.
I have a dream,
A dream to rule,
Rule this disgrace to the ground,
And lead my fellow homosapiens to dignity.
Why, why are we told when and how to think?
Are we not masters of our own lives?
Did the government not dish out rights to us all?
I had a dream to leave a mark in this world,
To lead people into change,
But not into misery.
I had a dream to fight my way to the top,
And kick not my fellow Man off the ladder in doing so.
I had a dream to take control,
Acquire my goals,
And travel the world.
I had a dream to say, I have played my part,
But that's all it ever was,
A DREAM...
