LOVE FORLORN

White Christmas turned blue
Dry harmattan air whistled
Sapping my strength with its moist
Robbing my desire, ensuring it’s lost.

Desolate, miserable, empty and lonely
You left me with nothing save sour memory
Forsaken, sad, dreary and shattered
Jumbled masses, in my head, scattered.

In the cozy weather of your arms
I stole my comfort
The warmth my furry coat couldn’t satisfy
I found in your knitted snuggery aura.

Now I stand here in oblivion
Sipping in every reality that you’re gone
I see me thrown in unfathomed chasm of your abyss
Will I ever again be happy?
