MY PEOPLE PERISH BECAUSE THEY LACK KNOWLEDGE!!!

The last time I checked, I thought the educated ones reason beyond their nose but I recently discovered that about 50% of the educated ones don't even understand a simple logic and also reason like those wailing wailers.

For months now, the licensed Independent Petroleum marketers e.g Capital Oil and the host of the  Canals have refused to supply the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) just because of their selfish interest. This devilish act led to months of queue at all filling stations across the federation. Some even sold it far above the then regulated price of N86.50.

However, President Buhari Muhammadu was feeling the pains of Nigerians but was in a helpless and a hopeless situation! Due to this reason, the presidency has to TAKE THE BULL BY THE HORNS. The Presidency decided to have meeting with the concerned bodies and danced to their tunes on the condition to deregulate the downstream sector and by pegging a maximum price of N145/litre which means it is acceptable to sell below that price. All these inorder to ease the pain and stress Nigerians face before getting fuel.

Hmmmm, few hours after the deal between the Federal Government and the  Independent Petroleum Marketers all queues in filling stations across the federation suddenly disappeared! The level of traffic jam decreased!

Does that mean that the independent petroleum marketers have fuel in stock but hoarding it in order to get what they want from the Federal Government ???

Few days later the Labour Union started threatening the Federal Government with indefinite strike action if the PMS' is not reverted to the old price. A senator started heating polity all because of his selfish interest. Na wa ooo!

Don't they use their second thought and think about the implications of what they want the Federal Government to do??

Instead of the Labour Union to fight the cabals who initiated this whole idea they are acting cowardly by facing the Federal Government.

The wailers started saying "Is this the change we voted for " as if they even wanted Mr President alive before being elected. In fact, they have even influenced some people to join them cursing Mr President.

Here are my questions  .....

Who is to be blamed?  The Federal Government or the Independent Petroleum Marketers?

Should we go back to the old official price and start queuing our time out at filling stations and getting per litre at black market for N250/litre or leave it at the new price and stop wasting our days at the filling stations?

Awa arawa ni a narrow arawa. (We are the ones endangering ourselves!
